As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced SeniorNetwork & Wireless Engineer to join our team on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract, with strong potential to transition into a permanent role based on performance and team fit.

 

RoleOverview

This role suits a hands-on engineer with strong enterprise networking and wireless expertise, including core and access networking, LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, RF-based wireless design, and NAC/ISE deployments, operating within project-driven environments.

 

KeyResponsibilities

•      Design, implement, and support enterprise LAN, WAN, and wireless network solutions

•      Deliver hands-on engineering across core and access switching, routing, and campus networks

•      Contribute to the design, implementation, and support of SD-WAN solutions where applicable

•      Lead and support enterprise wireless design, optimisation, and troubleshooting, applying sound RF principles

•      Conduct predictive, active, and post-implementation wireless surveys to validate coverage, capacity, and performance

•      Deliver network and wireless components of projects, meeting agreed scope, timelines, and quality expectations

•      Work closely with stakeholders to set clear technical expectations, manage dependencies, and communicate risks

•      Provide clear, well-structured written documentation, including designs, run books, survey reports, and implementation artefacts

•      Analyse network and wireless performance issues and provide practical remediation recommendations

 

Candidate Profile

•      Minimum 5 years’ experience in enterprise network and wireless engineering roles

•      Strong Cisco networking and wireless experience (essential), including:

-              Core and access switching

-              LAN/WAN routing and design

-              Enterprise wireless platforms

•        Solid understanding of wireless and RF concepts, including:

-              RF propagation, attenuation, interference, and capacity planning

-              Channel planning, power tuning, and site-specific design considerations

•      Hands-on experience with wireless design and survey tools, including:

-           Ekahau

-           Hamina

•      Proven experience performing:

-          Predictive wireless surveys

-          Post-implementation / validation surveys

•      Experience delivering network and wireless projects, not just operational support

•      Experience with Cisco DNA Center(DNAC) or similar network onboarding and automation tools would be highly desirable.

•      Cisco ISE / Network AccessControl (NAC) experience, including policy enforcement and integration with wired and wireless networks

•      Experience working with SD-WAN technologies in enterprise environments

•      Experience with Juniper switching and/or routing is an added advantage

•      Strong troubleshooting capability across wired and wireless environments

•      Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document and explain complex technical concepts clearly

 

DesirableCertifications

•      CCNP Enterprise orCCNP Wireless

•      Wireless certifications such asCWNA, CWDP, or CWAP

•      Juniper certifications (e.g.JNCIA, JNCIS)

 

What We Offer

•    Competitive salary package between $100,000 – $120,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
